We are a psychotherapy practice specializing in psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and sex therapy. We work with individuals, couples, and groups to explore the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape their inner and interpersonal lives—including those that affect intimacy and sexuality.
Our integrative approach honors the complexity of the human experience. We believe healing comes from curiosity, self-compassion, and a willingness to engage with all parts of ourselves—including those that carry shame, fear, or desire.
In individual therapy, we work one-on-one to explore emotional struggles, life transitions, identity issues, and patterns that may be rooted in earlier relational experiences. A psychodynamic approach helps uncover unconscious beliefs, attachment wounds, and inner conflicts that influence how you relate to yourself and others.
Through the lens of IFS, we explore your internal system of “parts”—including those that carry burdens of trauma, protect against vulnerability, or long for intimacy and connection. By building a relationship with your internal world, you can move toward greater self-leadership and emotional integration.
Our specialization in sex therapy allows us to also support clients navigating challenges related to desire, arousal, sexual identity, body image, performance anxiety, compulsive behaviors, or past sexual trauma. These issues are approached with nuance, warmth, and attunement, acknowledging both the psychological and relational aspects of sexual experience.
Couple therapy offers a space to explore the emotional and physical bonds between partners. Using a psychodynamic framework, we help couples understand how past relationships and unconscious expectations are being played out in their current dynamic. By making the invisible visible, partners gain insight into what fuels conflict, disconnection, or emotional distance.
From an IFS perspective, each partner brings a system of parts into the relationship—protectors, critics, exiles—and these parts often get activated during moments of intimacy, vulnerability, or conflict. We help couples recognize and work with these parts in themselves and in each other, fostering deeper empathy and connection.
With our sex therapy specialization, we support couples in navigating mismatched desire, performance concerns, lack of intimacy, recovery from infidelity, or transitions in sexual identity or functioning. Sexual concerns are explored within the broader relational and emotional context—never in isolation.
Our goal is to help couples cultivate both emotional closeness and a fulfilling erotic connection.
Group therapy provides a powerful space to explore personal and relational dynamics in real time with others. Drawing from psychodynamic group theory, our process-oriented groups emphasize the here-and-now relational field. Members gain insight into how they relate, defend, connect, or distance—patterns that often mirror those in their everyday lives.
From an IFS approach, group therapy also offers the opportunity to notice how your parts show up in relationship to others: Do you feel shut down? Overexposed? Competitive? Afraid of judgment? Curious? The group becomes a living laboratory where parts can be witnessed, understood, and gently unburdened.
Our sex therapy focus extends to group settings as well. Some groups may explicitly address themes of sexuality, desire, gender, or intimacy—while others naturally allow space for these topics to emerge. Group can be especially powerful in working through shame, sexual trauma, identity exploration, or relational wounding by offering a space for reflection, validation, and new interpersonal experiences.
Some clients benefit from more intensive or specialized care alongside therapy. If you need additional support, we offer:
Together, we’ll determine the right level of support to help you move toward the change you’re seeking.
